This flavour is derived from "Easy-Kubrick" for Blosxom by Michael Calleia, based on Sivert's version for Textpattern, based on Michael Heilemann's original for Wordpress.

I spent all of yesterday wrestling with a decrepit HP printer (7550a), including having to build it a new cable. The HP hardware is really weird and has strange ideas about the correct functioning of XON/XOFF.
It now seems to be printing some stuff ok ( "The Clash" logo ), and some stuff not so ok ( Burmese National League for Democracy Peacock - maybe my printer is a fascist? ). That's good enough for me though, so I've ordered a blade holder and a set of carbide blades from Hong Kong. When this whole thing finishes up, I'll write an article on converting old plotters into stencil cutters.
As the other reviewer said, this is probably the best bargain on the iTunes Australia store right now (if you like The Clash) - $16.99 for a three disc career retrospective that has all the important songs and a bunch of single only material. Not sure why it's so cheap, but get it while you can.
All the bits and pieces are there, and it was well packed too. While this would seem to indicate the too-good-to-be-true deal is in fact true, I wonder how much money they lost on the transaction.
It was so good. It was all so good. Everyone who wasn't there was chumped.
Highlights include E and The Chet switching places several times without dropping the beat on 'Flyswatter' and E calling out 'Drunk Asshole Man'.
I went to Kate and Tim McMahon's wedding yesterday, and it was very nice. The service was given by Father Bob and was entertaining and very human, although a few of the guests seemed a bit nervous about laughing in church. Congratulations to both of you.
Also yesterday, I bought a black, 4gb Asus Eee for use at university. Despite the linux goodness within, I am resisting the urge to customise it extensively as one of the reasons I bought it for notetaking at university was that it didn't have as many distractions as my normal Macbook. Very nice so far.
Speaking of distractions, I have two to recommend. I have gotten back into playing Cave Story / Doukutsu Monogatari, and I'm glad I have. It is excellent. The other is UFO: Alien Invasion. To call this a clone of the XCOM series would be an insult to the amount of hard work and effort that has gone into its creation, but it bears the undeniable imprint of the glory days of that franchise and I recommend it to everyone.
Kerrblade!
Well, I finally caved and installed Blosxom on the new progsoc userland box, Niflheim. I jumped through a few hoops first, including trying to get Movable Type, tb2 and my own perl engine ( similar to blosxom ) up and going.
For the moment, because of some trickiness on Niflheim's shakedown cruise, It's running in static mode. No comments. No search.
If anyone is curious as to what I'm doing at the moment, in addition to work and University I've trying to each my Arduino to play Guitar Hero 3 and recently qDot just dropped some new reading material on me in the form of Tom Igoe's Making Things Talk and Tom Igoe & Dan O'Sullivan's Physical Computing ( Thank you again! ). Also, I've been reading James Popple's A Pragmatic Legal Expert System.
Things are very busy.
