This flavour is derived from "Easy-Kubrick" for Blosxom by Michael Calleia, based on Sivert's version for Textpattern, based on Michael Heilemann's original for Wordpress.
Cave Story ( 洞窟物語, Dōkutsu Monogatari ) is a freeware videogame written by one guy, Daisuke Amaya ( "Pixel" ) over five years. It is excellent, and is pretty much the only game I have forced myself to make time for since I started in law school. I highly recommend everyone plays it.
I finally finished it this morning while eating breakfast, and I am very glad I did. I've played without the use of spoilers or guides, although I did go looking for help on one or two things, and I'd heard a fair few spoilers just floating around the gamer scene. With what I know however, I can say that I took the "easy" route through the game.

Thank you, Pixel!

I recently finished this, and carried off a few of the side-quest activities as well. I managed to find all the Pixls, finish the pits ( including the second dive for Flopside ), buy Tiptron, defeat all 100 Sammerguys, and max out my character levels ( with a bit of cheesery ).
This was great fun, and the art direction was a real treat. I've moved on to Super Mario Galaxy now, but I've purchased the original Nintendo 64 "Paper Mario" on Virtual Console to revisit when I have time.
