about:

You can read all about my thrilling life on my blog. I used to maintain some livejournals, and my list of interests there are a pretty good 10,000 foot view of who I am, so I'll reproduce them:

apple computers, art, artificial life, australia, bad movies, collecting instruments, computer science, console gaming, diy, electronics, forum 2000, girls with glasses, graffiti, hardware hacking, history of occultism, humanism, japanese, jerkcity, liberalatarianism, make, nietzsche, nintendo, open source, philosophy, skepticism, small l libertarianism, software engineering, steampunk, stencils, street art, tai chi chuan, tinkering, unix, webcomics, weird, writing

The old journals are available for browsing here and here.

I've kind of kept out of the social software revolution, with a few small exceptions. My collection of board games can be viewed at BoardGameGeek. I also have an Amazon Wish List, a bit of a holdover from when I was flirting with Mechanical Turk.

I play EVE Online, and fly with Goonfleet, as part of the mighty GoonSwarm warmachine. As this implies, I'm a member of the Something Awful Forums. After much good-natured cajoling, I am now also on Facebook.

I am currently residing in Melbourne, Australia. Until recently I was working with a good crew at CWCC in the beautiful CBD. Now, I study Law fulltime as a graduate at Melbourne University. Before that, I spent two years abroad teaching English in the Japanese public school system. I am dating another Australian who I met in Japan, Cassie. I am a humanist atheist who flirts with secular Buddhism, and like many other internet retards my politics could be described as liberal libertarian.
