TGW: I put the talks on the page in reverse chronological order as this emphasises the latest ones (and as 2010 was at the top). Some comments:

  • Any reason the talks for 2010 are on a different page? (will they be merged?)
    • I took it that the separate page was for scheduling, and this page was for ones that actually happened. Mmaster 16:00, 30 March 2010 (EST)
    • Yes, the separate page was for scheduling proposed talks (which have not happened yet and could be scrapped at anytime), and the old Talk page for finished ones. I can put the scheduling table back to the old Talk page if most of you think it's more appropriate that way. Tinang 20:00, 30 March 2010 (EST)
  • I'm not sure what listing very old talks buys us.
    • It looks erratic, kind of like they were (infrequent)
    • It doesn't include all the talks, we have had more impromptu talks before
      • These were the two I remembered. What other ones were there? Do we have better evidence of them? Mmaster 16:00, 30 March 2010 (EST)
  • Links to mailing list messages is not very helpful, I would expect links to slides or accompanying material (even video). (Or is linking to the mailing list a way to show significance in wikipedia style [citation needed]?)
    • I assumed that linking to mailing list is a way to proof that it did happen ("original message or it didn't happen") Tinang 20:00, 30 March 2010 (EST)
